Political Compass
On reader Mark's suggestion, I took the Political Compass test. I scored 0.50 on the economic scale (slightly to the right), and 0.56 on the authoritarian/libertarian scale (slightly authoritarian). I'm actually a little disappointed - I was hoping to be closer to Margaret Thatcher's ratings. Please feel free to post your results for this test in the comments section.

Any test that has Hitler listed as a fascist rather than a socialist is an example of bias. Some of the questions were left-wing crap.
According to the results, I have to send them my resume....hmmmmmm
Economic Left/Right: 0.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.74
Some of the questions were biased and/or didn't have an alternative that I really find palatable, but it's interesting nonetheless.
Anselm,
Describing Hitler as a socialist is an example of bias. Hitler tolerated and relied upon monied people and the upper class once in power. That's a hallmark of fascism, not socialism. Or, more specifically, it's a capitalist trait.
I'm curious as to which questions are considered biased. This is not a perfect test. Indeed, it's purpose is to quantify political and economic biases, so it's bound to raise a few eyebrows.
Anyway, as for myself:
I rate Economic Left/Right: -2.50, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.31 from which makes me a centre-left libertarian
Cyrano: You're a centrist? Well, take the test again in a few days, and see if it's different.
Oh, Cyrano (Shane?), I tagged you on my blog. Take a look.
Like I said, Mark - I've taken this before and pretty consistently score moderately right and authoritarian. I'm sure the iron lady hangs her head in shame at me.
I'm a teacher, and as you can probably guess, most teachers are pretty left-leaning. Another teacher forwarded me the test, and when I came out the same as here (approximately), one other teacher and I had fun calling each other fascist and communist for the rest of the day - great fun.
BTW, yes, it is Shane.
