Funny that this is such a major political issue when aboriginal women (some being prostitutes) are dieing in Canada, and the Edmonton area in particular. Reflects where the concerns are focused in this country. Seems like it should be one of the most important political issues to me... but I'm just a crazy feminist. Just a thought.

Are you saying that the entire news cycle should be pre-empted by what you identified? I'm not saying it shouldn't be reported on (although I haven't heard much about it thus far), but there are many topics on any given day. Do you have a link/your own blog with a story on this?
